The Medtronic Engineering and Innovation Center (MEIC) in Hyderabad has initiated a series of health and development initiatives aimed at uplifting underserved local communities.

Driven by Medtronic’s core mission to improve health and strengthen society, this year’s efforts focused heavily on early childhood development and women’s preventive healthcare. MEIC’s initiatives successfully strengthened 10 AnganwadiCentres, expanding educational access and child health screening programs across the region.

A major milestone of the program was expanding access to breast and cervical cancer awareness and screening services to more than 1,800 women in underserved areas across Hyderabad. By emphasizing the importance of early detection, these targeted interventions helped foster safer, more supportive environments for local families while bringing critical, preventative medical resources directly to those in need.

“Through sustained community engagement, we remain committed to creating meaningful impact beyond our workplace and contributing to healthier communities,” the center stated. Moving forward, MEIC will continue to leverage community partnerships to bridge healthcare gaps and advance long-term welfare.
