Jasper Therapeutics (Nasdaq: JSPR) has finalized its all-stock acquisition of Kira Pharmaceuticals, forming a combined entity focused on treatments for immune-related conditions. Alongside the deal, Jasper secured roughly $132 million through a private placement of convertible preferred shares, backed by Affinity Asset Advisors, Ikarian Capital, and several other institutional investors including Mirador Therapeutics.

The newly merged company will prioritize three key programs: KP-104, a dual-pathway complement inhibitor targeting kidney disorders and PNH; briquilimab, an anti-KIT antibody in late-stage development for immunologic and transplant-related uses; and KP-701, an early-stage antibody aimed at autoimmune disease. Separately, Kira has licensed two additional assets, KP-301 and KP-402, to Mirador Therapeutics in a deal worth $12 million upfront plus future milestone payments.

Combined, the financing and licensing proceeds are projected to sustain operations into the latter half of 2028, covering several anticipated clinical trial results. Jasper will keep trading under the ticker JSPR following the transaction’s close.
