Cadila Pharmaceuticals, a leading Indian integrated pharma major, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Singapore-based WellestaHoldings Pte. Ltd. to form a joint venture targeting expanded healthcare access across South-East Asia and other emerging global markets.

Under the arrangement, Cadila brings its deep expertise in R&D, manufacturing, and regulatory affairs, along with a broad portfolio covering prescription drugs, consumer health products, and specialty treatments. Wellesta complements this with its established commercial network, market-access know-how, and distribution reach built through years of healthcare partnerships across the region.

Together, the two firms plan to identify and roll out promising pharmaceutical and healthcare products, combining Cadila’sproduct and manufacturing capabilities with Wellesta’s regional commercial strength. The venture is expected to extend into markets across South-East Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, positioning both companies for sustained growth while advancing better healthcare outcomes for patients and stakeholders across these regions.
