Max Healthcare Institute Ltd has unveiled plans to expand its healthcare network into Gujarat, featuring the proposed establishment of an 800-bed modern multi-specialty hospital, alongside potential further capacity additions across Gandhinagar and Surat.
The investment roadmap was discussed during high-level one-to-one deliberations at the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS 2027) Curtain Raiser held in New Delhi. The engagement underscores Gujarat’s rapidly expanding healthcare ecosystem and its policy readiness to host world-class medical infrastructure and tertiary-care institutions.
The proposed 800-bed facility will be developed to deliver advanced, multi-disciplinary tertiary and quaternary care, equipped with specialized clinical wings, comprehensive critical care infrastructure, and cutting-edge medical technologies. In parallel, Max Healthcare’s exploration of opportunities in key hubs like Gandhinagar and Surat aims to bridge the rising demand for premium, specialized medical treatments across the state’s industrial and urban corridors.
The initiative aligns with Gujarat’s broader focus under the Vibrant Gujarat framework to attract private sector capital in modern social and healthcare infrastructure, reducing travel burdens for patients requiring complex clinical interventions.
