Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah inaugurated the pilot project for the “PM Family Care Tracker,” a groundbreaking integrated monitoring system designed to revolutionize the delivery of government welfare and health benefits.

Launched in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, the initiative establishes a comprehensive framework to track governance efficiency, identify vulnerable individuals, and ensure that essential welfare resources reach citizens seamlessly. By integrating existing public health databases with birth and death records, the platform will assign a unique identification and tracking number to every child, facilitating streamlined welfare support from early childhood.

The launch event highlighted the government’s broader commitment to public health, coinciding with the administration of polio drops to children and the distribution of specialized nutrition kits. During the inauguration, Shri Amit Shah emphasized the administration’s ongoing efforts to transform healthcare, noting massive expansions in medical infrastructure, increased doctor availability, and affordable medicine.

The PM Family Care Tracker marks a significant leap forward in digital governance, aiming to create a proactive, data-driven social security network that ensures no eligible citizen is left behind.
