Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, inaugurated the 16th Conference of the Central Council of Health & Family Welfare (CCHFW)  at Vigyan Bhawan. In a major push toward the ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ vision, the Minister launched critical public health guidelines designed to radically transform maternal and child healthcare infrastructure across India.

Highlighting a historic shift from curative to holistic healthcare, Shri Nadda released the SUMAN Road Map 2030, establishing a stringent four-stage clinical framework to reduce the national Maternal Mortality Ratio (MMR) below 70 per lakh live births. Concurrently, the Ministry introduced the Samagra Shishu Bal Swasthya Karyakram, a home-based care initiative deploying frontline workers for joint diagnostic home visits targeting early childhood development up to age three.

Additionally, the Anemia Mukt Bharat 2.0 Campaign was upgraded to transition from prophylactic care to advanced therapeutic tracking using digital hemoglobinometers, alongside optimized operational guidelines for the technology-driven National Ambulance Service. Reaffirmed by a 21% decline in domestic Tuberculosis incidence, the Union Minister lauded state health departments for orchestrating these grassroot transformations under cooperative federalism.
