In a major boost to citizen-centric digital governance, the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA), Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, has officially integrated the Pharma Jan Samadhan Portal with the Pharma Sahi Daam Portal. This strategic consolidation unifies medicine price verification and grievance redressal services onto a single, seamless web interface.
While both services were previously linked at the mobile application level, they operated through entirely separate web portals. The newly unified web platform eliminates this digital fragmentation, allowing users to instantly check government-approved ceiling prices for scheduled and non-scheduled medicines and lodge a complaint on the spot if they detect overpricing or drug shortages.
Operational with immediate effect, the integrated portal is designed to deliver a highly efficient, transparent, and user-friendly digital experience. By streamlining consumer access to critical pricing data and accountability tools, the NPPA aims to enhance public participation and strictly safeguard consumer rights.
