The National Health Authority, working alongside the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing, has rolled out e-Sushrut Clinic, a no-cost, web-based platform built under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission to help small and mid-sized clinics move away from paper-based operations.

The browser-based tool requires no major hardware or software investment, making it accessible to primary-care providers with limited resources. It supports digital patient records, appointment scheduling, and outpatient workflow management, while enabling clinics to exchange interoperable health data with hospitals and diagnostic centres connected to the national digital health network.

Beyond day-to-day clinical use, the platform offers dashboards and administrative tools aimed at improving operational efficiency and enabling data-driven decisions at the clinic level. Aggregated health data generated through the system is also expected to aid broader policy planning.

The rollout builds on an earlier MoU between the two agencies and reflects a continuing push to widen ABDM adoption across India’s grassroots healthcare network.
