Biozenta Lifescience Pvt. Ltd., a global leader in oncology medicines, has announced plans to establish a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, marking a major milestone for the state’s expanding pharmaceutical sector.

Representing a landmark capital investment of ₹1,250 crore, the project will be situated at Somaiya Industrial Park. The Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) has officially allotted 13 acres of land to support the development of this advanced unit, which will focus on producing specialized cancer therapeutics for domestic and global markets.

The initiative is projected to generate over 2,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities, providing a strong economic and industrial boost to the local region. By strengthening technical infrastructure and skilled employment, the facility directly supports Uttar Pradesh’s vision of becoming a primary hub for high-value investments, sustainable industrial growth, and advanced healthcare manufacturing.

This strategic expansion reinforces India’s domestic manufacturing capacity for specialized oncology treatments while establishing Barabanki as a prominent center for pharmaceutical development. Construction and infrastructure setup will proceed in coordination with UPSIDA to ensure rapid operational readiness.
