Global private equity firm Warburg Pincus has successfully completed the acquisition of domestic pharmaceuticals company Integrace Private Ltd from existing shareholders True North and Temasek. While official financial details remain undisclosed, sources close to the development value the landmark transaction at approximately ₹1,000 crore, enabling a complete exit for the selling investors.

Integrace has established a highly differentiated market position in India, managing a specialized portfolio of over 20 therapeutic brands dedicated to orthopedics, gynecology, pain management, and women’s health. Backed by extensive scientific marketing frameworks, the brand commands a trusted prescription network comprising more than 45,000 specialist healthcare professionals nationwide.

To spearhead the next phase of corporate growth, Warburg Pincus has appointed industry veteran Rehan Khan, former managing director of MSD and Abbott India, as Chief Executive Officer. This strategic acquisition underpins Warburg’s ambition to build a consolidated, market-leading domestic formulations platform in India. The private equity major intends to aggressively scale the platform through ongoing consolidation and potential future strategic acquisitions within high-growth local pharmaceutical segments.
