The Department of Pharmaceuticals, under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, has officially invited comments from stakeholders regarding proposed amendments to the Global Tender Enquiry (GTE) Exemption List of Medical Devices.
This initiative follows a prior Public Notice issued on February 11, 2026, which sought feedback on the existing GTE Exemption List. In response, the Department received various representations from industry stakeholders requesting specific additions, deletions, and modifications to the entries.
To ensure a comprehensive and collaborative review, the Department is calling upon all concerned stakeholders including domestic manufacturers, importers, industry associations, procurement agencies, and healthcare institutions to submit their formal comments and supporting information.
