The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) launched a Monthly Webinar Series on Best Practices under the National Health Mission (NHM). This year-round knowledge-sharing platform aims to foster innovation, facilitate the exchange of successful implementations among States and Union Territories, and accelerate the adoption of scalable, evidence-based practices.

Chaired by Smt. Aradhana Patnaik, Additional Secretary and Mission Director (NHM), the inaugural session focused on “Anemia, Child and Adolescent Health” and drew over 500 public health officials. The webinar highlighted ground-level breakthroughs from three states: Jharkhand showcased its Anemia Mukt Bharat T4 App and integrated home-visit programs; Chhattisgarh presented its Chirayu Day under the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK); and Madhya Pradesh shared its initiative addressing adolescent obesity.

To sustain this institutional mechanism for healthcare improvement, the National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) will provide ongoing technical support to document and expand these innovations national-wide. Through this initiative, the Ministry reaffirms its commitment to building a stronger, more collaborative, and responsive national health ecosystem.
