On 22nd May 2026, the Metropolis Healthcare, one of Indias leading diagnostics chain launches their new “Greenfield Laboratory” in Panjab’s Amritsar. The inauguration was graced by Dr. Anumeet Singh Grover, renowned gastroenterologist along with other renowned medical professionals across the country and leadership team from theMetropolis Healthcare.
The new facility is located at Main Majitha Road, one of Panjab’s prominent location. This facility is equipped with expertise across Biochemistry, Clinical Pathology, Immunoassay, and Haematology. It clearly indicates thecompany’s commitment towards delivering accurate, reliable, and timely diagnostic services not only in Punjab but also across this region.
As a part of the Metropolis Healthcare’s “Greenfield and Acquisition” project pipeline, It is prioritizing states with geographic vacuums to extends its reach into unpenetrated markets by adding numerous greenfield labs and collection centres across domestic Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities alongside strategic acquisitions. The company has consistently invested heavily (e.g., up to ₹60–100 crore in dedicated capex) to establish new organic testing facilities.
