Biomapas, a global integrated life sciences services provider, has announced the acquisition of Pinnaxis, a specialized pharmacovigilance technology and management consulting firm headquartered in Noida, India. The strategic transaction expands Biomapas’ global drug safety portfolio by integrating advanced safety database engineering, automation capabilities, and enterprise technology consulting.
Founded in 2018, Pinnaxis specializes in core safety system implementations, upgrades, data migration, end-to-end system integrations, validation, reporting, and managed services across major commercial safety databases, including Oracle Argus, ArisGlobal, and Veeva Safety Vault. With a team of more than 100 technical and consulting specialists, Pinnaxis brings proprietary accelerators for automated case intake, migration pipelines, and regulatory reporting. Under the transaction, Pinnaxis will lead Biomapas’ new Consulting & Digitalbusiness unit, driving the application of automation, AI-enabled workflows, and digital infrastructure across the group’s global safety services.
The acquisition also broadens Biomapas’ commercial presence in North America through Pinnaxis’ established operational office in New Jersey, complementing its existing global footprint across Luxembourg, Lithuania, Georgia, Turkey, and the UK. Biomapas is backed by private equity firm Carbyne Equity Partners, which has supported the organization’s buy-and-build platform strategy since October 2024, following the 2025 acquisition of Delta PV.
Nishant Rana, Founder & CEO of Pinnaxis, stated that joining Biomapas allows the team to deliver full-spectrum life sciences services beyond standalone technology consulting, connecting their safety systems expertise with regulatory, clinical, and quality capabilities across Europe and global markets. Xavier Duburcq, CEO of Biomapas, emphasized that integrating Pinnaxis connects specialist life sciences advisory with core technology execution, establishing a digitally enabled partner capable of managing complex lifecycle safety requirements for biopharma sponsors worldwide.
