The West Bengal Pharmacy Council (WBPC) has officially notified all Registered Pharmacists that the online renewal of registration will commence on September 7, 2026. Alongside the rollout, the council has revamped its web portal interface to ensure a seamless, user-friendly, and efficient digital application experience.

To initiate the process, pharmacists must sign up on the council’s dedicated portal at online.wbspc.in. After logging in, applicants can access the “Registration Renewal” section, select “New Application,” search using their registration number, and review their pre-populated details.

The digital renewal workflow requires applicants to upload key verification documents, including, identity and demographic proofs: Aadhaar ID, Voter ID, Date of Birth, and Father’s Name.Existing Registration Certificate and Professional Address Proof.Mandatory affidavit formatted as specified on the portal, duly issued by a First-Class Judicial Magistrate.

The updated portal also includes an integrated address change feature. If the auto-displayed residential address is outdated, candidates can check the option indicating a change of residential address and upload valid documentary proof.

Following submission, applications will enter an administrative verification phase, with status updates communicated via registered email. In instances where physical renewal certificates are issued through postal delivery, prevailing postal charges will be payable by the candidate.

Guidelines detailing the end-to-end renewal procedure are available in both English and Bengali on the official portal to facilitate smooth compliance across the state.
