Ambuja Neotia Healthcare Venture Ltd (ANHVL) has unveiled plans to establish a 120-bed specialized woman and child care hospital in Howrah, West Bengal, committing an investment of approximately ₹150 crore. Slated to become operational by April 2029, the facility will function under the group’s flagship brand, Neotia Bhagirathi Woman and Child Care Centre.
The new unit aims to address the significant demand for dedicated maternal, neonatal, and pediatric healthcare services in Howrah, identified as one of the region’s fastest-growing corridors. By bringing advanced clinical expertise and modern infrastructure closer to the local community, the hospital seeks to deliver compassionate, high-quality medical care tailored to families in the area.
Highlighting the group’s vision, Parthiv Neotia, Managing Director of Ambuja Neotia, emphasized that healthcare is fundamentally a trust-driven business. The Howrah development is structured to build on that foundation by bridging the critical gap in super-specialty mother-and-child care across the twin-city region.
This project marks a vital milestone in ANHVL’s larger strategic vision for Eastern India. The company has embarked on a ₹2,200-crore regional expansion plan over the next four to five years. Under this aggressive roadmap, the group intends to add approximately 1,800 beds across various upcoming projects, significantly expanding its footprint and scaling total network capacity to 2,500 beds.
Through this phased investment, Ambuja Neotia Healthcare reaffirms its commitment to strengthening the healthcare ecosystem in Eastern India with world-class, patient-centric clinical infrastructure.
