The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO), India’s national regulatory authority, and the Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) have formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the THSTI campus in Faridabad. The ceremony took place during THSTI’s 17th Foundation Day celebrations.

This strategic partnership marks a significant milestone in bridging regulatory science with cutting-edge translational research. Under the agreement, CDSCO and THSTI will collaborate across key domains, including vaccines, medical devices, diagnostics, biologics, regulatory science, capacity building, and specialized training.

The joint initiative aims to strengthen healthcare innovation by fostering high standards of scientific evaluation and regulatory oversight, ensuring advanced medical technology and therapies reach the public more efficiently.

“This collaboration represents an important step toward aligning regulatory frameworks with translational research to drive scientific excellence and serve public health,” stated representatives at the event, which brought together eminent scientists, researchers, and senior officials from THSTI and the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
