OneSource Speciality Pharma has entered into a strategic manufacturing partnership with Germany’s Formycon AG to produce biosimilar medicines for global markets, reinforcing India’s growing role as an international biologics manufacturing hub.
Under the agreement, OneSource will provide integrated Drug Substance (DS) and Drug Product (DP) manufacturing from its state-of-the-art biologics facility in Bengaluru. The collaboration combines Formycon’s deep expertise in biosimilar development with OneSource’s end-to-end manufacturing capabilities to support a robust portfolio of biosimilar medicines across international markets.
The partnership is expected to enhance supply chain reliability, improve manufacturing scalability, and broaden access to high-quality, affordable biologic therapies worldwide. It reflects the increasing global importance of India’s contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) ecosystem.
