Novartis AG concluded a defining presence at the European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology (EULAR) 2026 Congress today at ExCeL London, presenting pivotal findings from 31 abstracts across its immunology pipeline.

Headline data from the REPLENISH trial — the largest Phase 3 study ever conducted in polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) — showcased Cosentyx® (secukinumab)’s therapeutic potential in a disease long underserved by targeted biologics. Complementing this, 108-week extension results from the NEPTUNUS-1 and NEPTUNUS-2 trials evaluated investigational ianalumab in Sjögren’s disease, with complementary Phase 2 end-of-study data in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Spanning biologics, small molecules, and CAR-T therapy across PMR, Sjögren’s, SLE, systemic sclerosis, and inflammatory myopathies.

The breadth of today’s evidence reinforces Novartis’s industry-leading position in autoimmune drug development. Full EULAR datasets are expected to inform regulatory submissions and commercial strategy across multiple indications in H2 2026.
